What a Long Strange Trip it's Been!

I found my blog today and re-read all the past posts.  I have to admit some of them were really good!  It's funny to see how my friends and sister were annoying me.  (they still do at times)  I completed my internship, worked a maternity leave and eventually found myself a full time job!  I commute an hour each way.  It's exhausting but I'm so glad I went back to work.  I really like what I do.  My students have problems you would never believe and I try my best to help make their lives better in some way.  My boys are growing up fast, one is heading to high school next year and the other middle school.  I feel like I'm on the downward slope of their childhoods.  We have a dog who drives me crazy and my husband has been on a health kick and seems much happier with his life.  It's funny that my name for this blog is morethanamom but I have to admit being a mom is my greatest accomplishment.  Working has allowed me to enjoy this. I have to go back to graduate school to get more credits for my license which is a pain but also a new adventure. That is my plan, to continue learning and continue adventures...
